Norman Regional Urgent Care – Goldsby

My wife and I have been to this location multiple times and both Dr. Dulworth and Nurse Practitioner Dulworth are both exceptional. Professional, thorough and they LISTEN. We appreciate them very much. Also, the reception staff, nurses and phlebatomist are outstanding as well. So glad this clinic is close to our home and more importantly so well staffed!

I went to Norman regional in Norman this afternoon first and after an hour check in, vitals they decided to tell me they had no x ray tech so sent me to the goldsby location. They were quick. The nurse was great but the women that read the X-rays not so much. Broke my foot and in severe pain. She said anti-inflammatory would be the first step to take the pain away. I told her I needed something for the pain as I came into town for a wedding and needed relief. She didn’t seem care. No gabapentin nothing! Would not give me copies or a cd of my X-rays for my orthopedist in Atlanta. Would not recommend!

They were absolutely amazing!! I had fell down the stairs and broken my ankle 4 hours before my wedding and they got me in immediately after I left the Norman regional urgent care. They made me so comfortable and made such light out the situation. I can’t remember their names but seriously every single person in there was amazing and catered to my every need. They got me in and out in less than 30 mins. I couldn’t be more thankful for this place! I was prescribed an antibiotic today with a black box warning. After reading the MANY reviews on this drug about it ruining people's lives, I called the clinic to tell them I was not comfortable taking this, that the side affects, no matter how rare, (they don't sound rare if you look up the med online), were not worth the risk to me. The doctor/nurse (Corey Young) sounded annoyed with me and told me it was my only choice unless I wanted to go to the emergency room and get an IV of something else. I decided to take my lab results and get a 2nd opinion. The 2nd opinion Dr showed me how to read the results and showed me where it reads that there is in fact a different safer drug that I could take. Went to doctor here other day for sore throat and coughing real bad, usually they will give me a steroid shot or a z pack to help get over this fast since I work outside for a living. Nope, not this time, was prescribed a cough suppressant and that was all, never had my throat checked at all. Guess staff changed or something cause doctor i use to see i guess is no longer there. I will not be using them no more. Unprofessional for a doctor to not prescribe medicine, just oh it has to run its course.
