We have been patients at this pediatric office for a long time and truly love our doctor. Our visits have always been positive, and we never had any issues before. However, during our most recent appointment, we were running about 15 minutes late. We were already downstairs in the building, and I called the front desk to let them know we were there. The receptionist spoke to me in a very rude and inappropriate tone. She said they had called me earlier and I didn’t answer. I was driving with my child in the car at the time, and my child was crying, so I could not safely take the call. She then told me we would not be seen and that we would be charged a $50 no-show fee. I want to express my sincere gratitude to Dr. Ana Paula de Faria — a truly wonderful pediatrician and a real professional! She was very attentive, patient, and took her time with us. She carefully listened to all our concerns, explained everything clearly, and gave us thoughtful and genuinely helpful advice — from skin allergies on our daughter’s legs to questions about her motor development. The check-up was incredibly thorough — they even examined her eyes, which no one had done before. The level of attention and care felt absolutely top-tier. The clinic itself is also worth mentioning — it’s so comfortable and thoughtfully set up. Love this clinic. The atmosphere is very calming and personalized. The whole staff is very friendly, and Dr. Lorentz and Elina are very knowledgeable. The clinic is a bit of a drive for me and we still choose to come here over anywhere else due to the quality of care. Highly recommend.

Today, I sent a text to the what’s app chat to verify if I could get a check up since I noticed my daughter seem to have a urine concern, so I wanted to first take her to her doctor before the ER, let’s just say worst idea ever, they did tell me to come in and asked me what time would be best for me, I told them around 3:00pm since my daughter was taking her nap and by that time I would be able to get there without having to wake her up (the night before she barley slept) after they agreed to the time, I received a text 10 min later asking if I would be able to make it earlier then 3:00pm due to the urine test it could take time and i know they close at 5:00 pm, I told them I would try my best, after 20 minutes a male nurse called me to say that was an issue and for me to just come at 3:00

Note to everyone: THEY DON'T ACCEPT ANY INSURANCES ANYMORE. My daughter has been a patient there since she was a baby. After a successful treatment of recent pneumonia we went in for a followup visit. AT THE END of the visit we were asked to pay a visit fee. What?! So they informed me at the end of my visit they don't accept any insurances anymore. On my check in form there was even a question about any changes in current insurance information. Complete lack of transparency and communication. I work in healthcare as well and when there is any changes in patient procedures, we always let patients know ahead of time so they can CHOOSE whether or not to continue the relationship with the office. I'm looking for another pediatric office to say the least.
