Nicklaus Children's Weston Pediatric Care Center

I was referred to Dr Hay by our pediatric dermatologist and when I arrived several weeks after making the appointment I was asked if I had a referral. It was never mentioned that I would need one upon appointment so after driving 2 hours to see this doctor I had to scramble to call my child’s dermatologist who then told me it has to be from his PCP. Long story short we were 30 minutes past his appointment time when I was finally able to get one faxed over from the PCP, just to be told “the Dr isn’t having it today” and that I would have to reschedule. 4 hours of driving and weeks of waiting and no where in that time was I told that I would need a referral to be seen. I would have been working on it long before. My guess is this doctor just wanted to go on lunch break so who cares about the

We have visited this location twice with our newborn and would like to share concerns regarding the practices of the medical assistants. We want to emphasize that we have no complaints regarding the pediatrician, who has been excellent in providing care and wears a mask during the visit. During both visits, however, the medical assistants did not introduce themselves upon entering the room, and their name badges were turned around, making identification difficult. Additionally, they interacted with our newborn (less than 30 days old) at close range without wearing masks. Given the nature of a pediatric office, where staff are regularly exposed to sick children, this creates an unnecessary risk of transmitting contagious bacteria or viruses to vulnerable infants. I had a terrible experience trying to schedule a prenatal consultation with this office. I called three times, and each time, they promised to call me back the next day—yet no one ever did. Maggie was supposed to follow up with me three times, but it never happened. I don't understand how many times I have to call just to schedule a single prenatal consultation. Extremely frustrating and unprofessional service.

Impossible to get in touch with the office, left messages and haven’t received a called back.

Thanks Miss Sheryl Stanley for take care my son. The only Bad thing on this place is if you need talk to someone by phone omg pray before because the operator is so Annoying i wait more at 20 minutes to get transfer to one person. I prefer drive there i get more fast.
