NHCAC Health Center

I have been in this health center for a while. I always make appointments and even if you make an appointment you have to wait for hours. I told them an advance I had somewhere to be which was school! And I still had to wait. It’s crazy how long you have to wait even if you have an appointment already.

I was going to the north Hudson clinic in union city location, the first Dr. Was horrible to me I waited hours for him to see me for 5 minutes, there was this one time I asked him for advice because couple days before tne appt I was getting a haircut and felt super dizzy close to fainting and he yelled at me made me feel dumb for not going to the hospital yet that’s why I have him there for .. to guide me but he didn’t instead he yelled at me. Then I switched doctors and had this other Dr. And when I asked him about why my feet are beyond swollen to the point I can’t walk and had white spots on my legs he sarcastically answered “idk I’m not a skin Dr.” … left me feeling worried and scared about my symptoms didn’t give me any advice any reassurance nothing he just sent me away. It takes a lot for me to leave a negative review. However, a wait time over 2 hours with a scheduled appointment from a month ago is absurd!!!! This clinic must do better!! To have people waiting this long is extremely in considerate. What are we scheduling appointments for?

Receptionist, nurses and doctor were all nice and kind. But wait time was ridiculous. Since my husband was a new patient, we arrived there 30 minutes before our appt time (10am) to do the paperwork. By the time we were done with our paperwork it was around 9:50. Then we sat in the waiting area and waited. By the time the nurse called us it was around 11:20am. She did the basic stuff every other nurses do (measure height, weight, temperature, blood pressure, pulse and ask basic questions). Then we were send back to waiting area again. Then the doctor called us around 12:00pm. He asked why my husband was here today. So we told him that we were there to get vaccinated for school immunization record. Please for the love of god don't go to this doctor, they leave you on hold, hang up on you when you call and ask them for help, and being there in person is a nightmare, as appointments just seem to be suggestions for them. I honestly might send them a letter for malpractice, I'd honestly trust a group of 6th graders to run the office better.
