0 stars! Please have the decency for your family member to NOT send them to this place. It is FILLED to the brim with people that are the least compassionate people in health care I have ever had the absolute displeasure of encountering. My father was only there a short amount of time but I truly feared leaving him every night, wondering what I was going to come back to each morning. This place isnt a rehab, its a place that sick elderly people are sent to be ignored and die. They are just a payout! The lack of effort is crazy. The way the staff, even its' superiors, speaks to patients and their families is shocking. You would think for a place that has patients that are very ill with things such as cancer, dementia, etc. that they would be able to speak with kindness and sympathy instead

I had a deeply unsettling road rage encounter with an employee of NHC Healthcare that has left me questioning the judgment and emotional regulation of someone entrusted with the care of vulnerable individuals. While driving my daughter to school in the morning, I signaled and legally merged into the left lane to make a turn onto Garden City Connector — the same road this employee appears to use for his commute. Rather than turning into the facility’s parking lot, he followed my vehicle for 1.7 miles to my daughter’s school. During this time, he repeatedly honked his horn and took photos of my car, clearly attempting to intimidate me. If I could rate below zero I would. BEWARE don’t send anyone you care about here. My mother was sent for PT never saw a DR. Was left in bed all day . She develops Ed a blood clot and the PA did nothing. Thank god we got her out and to the ER

My brother was put in this facility 4 weeks ago. I don't know much about the conditions or care staff, as I live in New York. I sincerely pray that a lot of the reviews are inaccurate, as they are not good! I won't allow substandard care for my brother, he's only 65 and deserves the best. His son put him in this facility. Please do your best to care for him and all residents. Thank you

Currently, my mother is in long term nursing care. She has been there for 2 1/2 years. At the beginning of her stay, her care was good. The nursing staff and CNAs were cooperative and responsive to her needs. This has dramatically changed in the last 6 months. Good, dependable staff have been let go. Administration has not responded to my email or calls. I’m quite concerned about the decline.
