Went to see friend thats there. Walked up to desk, 3 nurses standing there, one walked off another looked at me,turned and walked away. Another ask if i needed something. I ask what room, and another nurse came out, she was very kind. Told me down hall to another nurse station. Got there, 2 more nurses, extremely rude. Hateful, not helpful. And nobody was busy. My friend had said they werent helping her and after the encounter i had, she was probably right. I know nursing is short handed and they have a lot to do but rudeness and ignorance isnt necessary. Kindness goes a long way. Sadly NHC has always had a good reputation but this location needs some training on compassion. I just have to ask, would they wanted to be treated like that if it was their family staying there.

Our family's experience with NHC Hendersonville was profoundly heartbreaking and deeply disappointing. We entrusted them with my father’s care, expecting compassion, professionalism, and most importantly — protection. When his roommate tested positive for COVID, we immediately raised concerns about my father's safety. He was medically vulnerable and clearly at high risk. Despite our repeated requests, the facility refused to move him to a safer location or isolate him appropriately. Instead, he remained in the same room — exposed and unprotected. Although he initially tested negative, he eventually contracted COVID. He passed away not long after. We believe this outcome was preventable. The lack of proactive measures, disregard for basic infection control, and unwillingness to adapt to

My mom recently spent close to 2 months in the rehab facility here. The staff is amazing! From the day we checked in till the very last day everyone we have met has treated us like family. She will hate to leave all the great people behind as they all were instrumental in getting her well enough to return to her home. Thank you NHC for all you have done in this challenging time.

My father was placed in a room with a COVID-positive roommate at this facility. Despite my father initially testing negative, they refused to move him, citing their policy of “containing” the virus within one room. As a result, my father contracted COVID and passed away. I believe this policy/facility directly contributed to his death. I urge others to reconsider NHC when considering care for their loved ones.

My father was with the NHC facility in Gallatin TN for nearly 2 years, while it was not perfect, we never worried about his well-being. NHC Gallatin is self-pay, and we needed to move dad to NHC Hendersonville because NHC Gallatin does not accept Medicaid and NHC Hendersonville does. From the get-go, NHC Hendersonville tried to block my father from coming there. He was good enough to care for while we were paying but not when we weren't?? Strange. They fought us tooth and nail to try to block him from coming. It did not make any sense. Finally, after many discussions with NHC Corp Headquarters and our attorney my father was accepted. 2 weeks after he moved, he was dead. They left him, a vulnerable senior citizen, in a room with a roommate who tested positive for COVID, while my father test
