NextCare Urgent Care Glendale - W. Thunderbird Road

Set an appointment was easy. Check in and initial contact to get vitals and flue / covid test very good,very nice younglady. Nurse practitioner didn't give me much attention or check me out well at all. Listen to my chest with 3 layers of shirt on and didn't even ask to remove them. Told her my girlfriend has sinus and upper chest infection and she said I have a common cold gave me 3 prescriptions, 1 an antibiotic which does nothing for a common cold, and sent me down the road. Not happy with her care. Would not go back. Drive farther from home next time.

If 0 was an option, I'd do that. Since I got zero help, zero stars. The website says they offer x-ray services but that's not accurste. You MAY be able to get an x-ray, but ONLY if you're lucky enough to go when the tech is there. If you are not going to offer x-ray services, maybe remove it from your list of services on the website 🤷‍♂️. Or, if your technician has limited hours, post those hours. But when I go online and I see that you have x-ray services available and I bring my son in there with his broken wrist and there's no X-ray tech that defeats the whole damn point of getting "urgent" care. PSA to all you reading this: NEVER go to an Urgent Care if you need an x-ray. You have no idea whether or not a tech will be there. Better off just going to the ER. A couple of years ago I made

I had my 1p appt on a Sunday. There was no wait time. I am from our-of-town so my insurance didn't cover. The front desk girl was polite and offered me an AZ coverage that'll cover me for a year for office visits. I still had to pay, but it was more reasonable than I expected. The NPA was very honest with her medical advice and made me feel comfortable throughout my visit.

They went above and beyond to help my medical issue. Michelle is so kind and the staff is lovely as well. You can always tell when the staff is nice, it means they are treated with respect from their co-workers; and that kindness is passed down to the patient. Thanks again. Highly recommend.

Nurse Practitioner was very nice, compassionate and concerned. I have always visited this particular facility (54th Ave & Thunderbird) for its location, employees and ease of getting an appointment. Highly recommended 👏🏻👏🏻
