Next Step Pediatrics

We had Dr. McAneny today for a sick visit. She is incredible. Dr. McAneny got down on my child’s level to communicate and playfully gained my toddler’s trust for an ear cleaning. I am so appreciative. My children have unique medical issues and it meant a lot yo me that Dr. McAneny had read my child’s chart, mentioned she was aware and approached care with my child’s needs and medical history in mind. Thank you for keeping the Dr.’s office a place to go that my kiddos actually look forward to! We appreciate you all. And Claire at the front desk is also very kind and interacted with my kiddo in a fun way (my little one said the wanted a yellow lollipop so Claire found all of the yellow flavors and fanned them out so my child could pick). I’m a grateful and happy Mom.

Next Step Pediatrics are Amazing. We have been going here for 17 years now and wouldn't dream of going anywhere else . Dr bucci and staff have become like family. Dr bucci recommendations for our 4 children's care have always been on point and we value his experience and knowledge.

The best pediatrician / pediatrics practice in Baltimore! We usually see Dr. Lancer - she's amazing and very down-to-earth - highly recommend her! We've also seen Dr. Bucci and nurse practitioners Kat and Sam, and they're great as well. All of the providers take time with the patient/parent to address all questions, listen to any issues you are having and recommend solutions/ a care plan. They also explain what to expect at the next visit. I really appreciate how the providers write notes or provide helpful handouts/resources for the parents so I can refer back to them when I get home (ex: plan for transitioning baby to solid foods and treating baby skin rashes and cradle cap). The medical assistants and office staff are helpful and friendly as well! Both locations are easily accessible,

I'm actually quite shocked that there are a few negative reviews here. We have been with Next Step since my son was born and he is now 14 months. I'm very particular about any service providers I use, especially healthcare providers. Dr. Bucci, Kat, and Dr. Lancer are amazing and we have never had a bad experience. They call back promptly at all hours and are very responsive. The staff is also friendly and we are always able to get a quick appointment if needed. Highly recommend.

We LOVE Dr. Bucci!!! As a first time Mom he was perfect. He helped me gain confidence with nursing and encouraged me to parent the way I thought best. He took the time to hear me and even after all my questions(and there were alot) he asked if I had anymore. My son loves him and thinks he is very funny. I now have a second and there was no question that he would be our Dr. for #2. I have had one appointment with Dr. Lancer. She was equally as helpful and was very personable. Look forward to getting to know her better through the years.
