I complained multiple times because they lost my insurance and sent me a private pay email for nearly $1,000.00. Not long after having to ask to speak to a supervisor to fix the issue, another issue comes up where they sent my lab to labcorps which is not covered by my insurance and I received a bill for $750. They dont give a damn here Update: My provider Dr. Tarasuk was ethical and chose the most non-invasive procedures and seemed to take my care seriously. That being said the stress I experienced from both the front desk that failed to upload my insurance and the billing department made this a very poor experience for an already stressful situation. Stop being cheap with your training of your clerical staff, and choose better lab vendors. This isnt good for the providers reputation or

My wheelchair bound parent had an appointment at this location. I took a day off from work to go. The day before, I received a call asking if my parent could climb stairs as the elevator is out of service. I said this was not possible. They had to reschedule me for the Fresh Meadows location on a different day. I asked if it would be possible to be rescheduled for the same day as the original appointment at the fresh meadows location with a different doctor and the answer was no. The next available appointment was not until two days later and meant another missed day of work. NYPQ urology is in violation of the American with Disabilities Act. If you are handicapped, avoid this location.

The people who answer the phone have such an attitude like you are begging them to answer the phone, and they make you Waite at least for like 10 minutes before they answer your call. Then after, as soon as they see that your last name is Hispanic, and you speak English with a Spanish accent, they treat you like a second class citizen with a despotic tone of voice. Also, when you come to the clinic these secretaries are having their personal social conversation before they pay attention on you as a patience. This is something that I read before about this hospital, and I did not believe it. They said they are the number fourth hospital in the country, but it is a joke, beginning with the way these secretaries have treated the minorities patience. I called with an urinary painful infectio

Run for your life. Don't RUIN your life by letting them due any procedures without getting a 2nd opinion. I am disabled and dying a slow painful death. I know another patient who had a procedure there. He kept going back to be told he was pill seeking. He had internal bleeding. He ended up dead 6 months after. Now I am disabled and have CRPS. Plenty of better Urologist out there. You have to do the research. They just want to make a quick $20,000 to $50,000 and toss you out.
