Newville Animal Hospital

We recently became new clients at Newville Animal Hospital since leaving a corporate owned veterinary hospital. Dr. Hasco and Dr. Ritter and all their great staff have been welcoming and thorough with our cats. I tend to ask a lot of questions so I can be involved with my cats' care. Both veterinarians and vet techs have gone above and beyond to answer my questions and that is important to me. The fact that Dr. Hasco is the owner of the business is a good thing. The atmosphere is more personal than the corporate owned practice. We look forward to many years with Dr. Hasco and Dr. Ritter caring for our unique and special cats.

I was referred here and absolutely fell in love with the team. The vet and staff are friendly and helpful. Answered all my questions and did make me comfortable with the decisions we settled on. My babies are in safe hands here.

One of the best vet clinics in the area! Truly love everyone that works here. They are so caring and kind, especially during stressful situations. They will go above and beyond to care for your animals. The Vet Techs are truly an amazing team. Wonderful vets! Amazing office manager!

I took my cat in for a check up to see Dr. Hasco because she wasn’t feeling well. Her blood work came back the next day with her glucose level over 700. He called my mom and basically told her she has diabetes, anemic, and has kidney disease and that there’s basically nothing he can do to help besides help with the diabetes. If you didn’t know, blood sugar over 700 is a MEDICAL EMERGENCY. I felt as if this man had no urgency or care about my cat. He said “you can order insulin online and then make another appointment but I won’t be back in until Tuesday” when he should have told me to take her to an emergency vet. I called another vet for a second opinion because I felt in my soul he wasn’t doing enough. Told them what was going on and the lady told me to take her to the emergency vet AS

I always appreciate Newville Animal Hospital for how well they treat my current pets, and previous ones who have passed. Dr. Ritter is great - very knowledgeable, informative, and compassionate! I appreciate that she gives multiple routes for treatment and gives recommendations on moving forward! Will always return to this practice!
