Newport Health Center

I am very impressed with the Newport health center. The providers are terrific, (my doctor is Dr Kricko, who is fantastic), And the nursing staff is also fantastic and they all have a great bedside manner. The administrative staff is also wonderful. I’ve been coming here for three years, and I’ve never had to wait more than a few minutes for my appointment. Excellent patient flow, well organized, great group!

Doctor Krickos has always listened and always guides me the best he can. He is very nice and helpful and I am a severe diabetic, I don’t always like what he has to say but need him to remind me to stay alive.

When I moved to this area, I realized I would have to leave my old doctors office that I had been going to for almost 40 years. I didn't want to, but it made no sense to drive an hour to go to the doctor. So I switched in 2022 and have been very pleased with my experience. My primary care is Samantha Rossignol, and she is amazing! I never feel rushed and always feel listened to. I also love the "one-stop shopping" aspect. Need PT? It's there. Mammogram? They've got it. Xrays? In-house. The staff is kind, and the practice is convenient.

Melissa Nelson is incompetent!! Not only did she not interact with me, but did NOT listen to my answers or concerns. Totally messed up my medical record!! Did t even look at me, left the whole 1st visit up to a nursing student. On top of that, ended up ordering the wrong type of mammogram - diagnostic-, which wasn’t needed OR covered by insurance!! I ended up paying over $1,490 for that visit !!! Several things are now wrong with it medical record, which I am trying to correct, all due to her stupidity!! Never went back !!

I've been dealing with quite a few health issues for quite a few years now… and I don't think I've ever had a doctor listen to me and try to help me And make me feel like a person more than the doctor I have at newport health center. I think for a long time I just gave up and just accepted the fact that I was sick, and things weren't ever gonna get any better or easier... But my doctor at this office makes me feel like there's still a chance at a life.
