Newport Dental

I’ve only ever reviewed one dental clinic before and that was because I was waiting on a refund for 9 months. Having said that, Newport Dental is incredible. I have extreme dental anxiety - or at least I did before coming here. Dr. Shore is amazing. Michelle is the best hygienist I’ve ever had. We came here from Raleigh and it is amazing the difference between here and some of the “big clinics” in Raleigh. So happy I finally decided just to go - excited to get on the right track and start a new dental journey with this team!

This place is GREAT! After calling about a broken tooth they worked me in , diagnosed and treated me within one day!!! Super nice assistant made my nervous self feel completely comfortable! The Dr. took time to explain thinks also and was quick and compassionate ! I recommend Dr Shore and her staff highly! If you need great dental care this is the place! Thanks to Dr Shore and Jennifer! You guys rock!!!

I suffer from dental anxiety and have avoided going to the dentist in several years. After finally mustering up some courage, I made an appointment with Newport Dental. I divulged my anxiety to my hygienist upon arrival, and she definitely helped put me at ease by explaining each part of the process and making conversation in between. She worked efficiently to get me in & out of the chair as quickly as possible but was super thorough throughout the X-rays and cleaning process. After the cleaning, Dr. Shore did the exam and answered all of my questions and thoroughly explained the few problem areas with me. This was my first time going to Newport Dental and it was a great experience! Bridget was very kind and helpful in explaining everything she was doing throughout the cleaning. Dr. Shore was great as well and very reassuring! I am glad to now have a new go-to Dental office in this area :)
