Newman Memorial Hospital

I am 73 and have lived in this area for 8-9 years. I started going to Newman Memorial with my varied ailments-in the hospital probably twice a year. That sucks! But the hospital is wonderful, even if they don't always get an IV started the first time lol. The personnel are very nice, go out of their way to make sure I'm doing ok. I don't always get along with every doctor, but I do usually with the nurses! The food is pretty good also! And the young man who drives their transport van is 100%! He is so kind, helpful, NEVER short tempered or rude, and engaging to speak with. And remember I am 73 lol. The older gentleman driver is closely the same. This driver delivery van has been a Godsend for me. Thank you so very much!! Janet Scott

Went to the clinic inside the hospital when my daughter was feeling ill. Reception was friendly, wait time was short, medical staff was attentive, and the building was very clean. She got ice cream in the cafeteria afterwards, skipped to the car, and asked when she will get to go back. Very pleasant experience, so we most certainly will be back. 👍🏻

Thanks to the wonderful staff and doctors while I was in hospital for my knee replacement. Im glad to be home but will miss you all thanks again Debra Dodd

I was having trouble finding a hospital in the city to do my bilateral knee replacement and my surgeon said we can do it at Neman Memorial in Shattuck. Hehe, I didn't even know Shattuck had a hospital. So they scheduled a driver to pick me up in Edmond and drive my wife and I to a small bread and breakfast to wait over night. The young man diving us couldn't have been nicer and was always asking about our needs. He got us to the B&B and helped us get in and told us when he would be picking us up in the morning. About 30 mins later out food arrived that we ordered the day before. The food was good and the B&B was super clean. It didn't look like much on the outside but was very clean and nice. We arrived at Newman got checked in and had surgery that morning. Everyone there was nice

Newman Memorial Hospital is fantastic! Everyone there is friendly and helpful. The ER is fast and getting appointments at the clinic is easy too. I've never had a bad experience at this Hospital. I highly recommend Newman Memorial!
