Everyone has worked so hard to make the experience my rescue Chihuahuas go thru the best it can be. 2 years from growling and trying to bite to a easy visit with the help of a little calming medicine with all the Ladies that love them. Chico says ok if you must and Vera says rub my belly please. Pics below waiting to get our nails trimmed -- not scared to death thinking they were back at the shelter in Texas. We wouldn't go anywhere else !!

We have been taking our beloved dog to Newbury for 17 years. Yesterday was her final day with us. I can’t thank the incredible staff at the hospital enough for the kindness and compassion they had for our family. This is a special place and will always be the providers for our pets

Back in 2004 my new puppy, Joe, and I had our first visit at Newbury Animal Hospital. It was such a positive experience. I felt so grateful to have found a place where the care, professionalism, knowledge, kindness and empathy was so profound. I knew this was the perfect place for Joe. Fast forward...yesterday I picked up Joe after having surgery with Dr. Grillo. Joe is fine thanks to Dr. Grillo and his amazing staff. Joe is now over 15 years old. I would never trust anyone but Dr. Grillo and his team to put Joe under the required general anesthesia for his procedure, especially at Joe's age. When my Dobie was diagnosed with DCM he ended up having another serious problem at the time, I took him to Newbury Animal hospital and had them look him over. The vet called me and let me know he would probably need surgery to correct the problem (not DCM) which would require him to be put under. I agreed to the surgery but a day later called back and left a voicemail to the Doctor and let her know of my concerns, putting him under would be a lot of stress on his heart would and likely would've him put him in cardiac arrest. The Doc called me back and she let me know that she fully agreed and after calling the cardiologist to confirm what we both agreed on, she said ultimately it was for the best. Thank you Newbury Animal Hospital and Dr. Ingram! My pup was not feeling well at all and you were able to get me an apoointment ASAP. Dr. Ingram put both myself and my 4 legged bestie at ease and had us on our way after a thorough exam and diagnosis. Dr. Ingram also called 2 days later to make sure he was feeling better! Great staff, tech and docs!
