Absolutely love Newberry animal hospital on Main Street. Always taking the best care of my herd of animals and taking the extra time to go slow with the few that get anxious at the vet. Can’t speak highly enough of everyone one there from the front desk, to the vet techs and vets themselves. Always super nice and understanding. They make the vet a fun and safe space :)

In my search for a new veterinary hospital for my dog Sierra Moon aka Cheeky, I contacted my niece Lexi and asked her for recommendations. Based on Cheeky’s needs and her current medical issues, Lexi suggested that I give her office a chance. She knows how careful I am about selecting the best care for my dogs and she insisted that her hospital would be a good fit for my Cheeky and she was not wrong. Cheeky is an anxious nervous Nelly scared of just about anything; however, she felt very comfortable there, something that has not been the case in her previous hospital. She let the vet tech (her cousin Lexi) take care of her as well as the doctor and she did not seem upset at all. In addition, their prices are very, very reasonable. I came here for a second opinion about my baby Domino. He was 16 years old. So kind but so sick. Dr. Karen Schaedel and Alexa were wonderful. I was devastated at the news about my baby. After a heartfelt conversation, I made the decision to euthanize my boy. I would not have felt comfortable making the decision without this team. They genuinely cared about me and my baby. This practice is wonderful. I’m sad my little guy isn’t here with me anymore. But I’m happy with the help of this place that I was able to send him off with peace. Thank you Newberry Animal Hospital. They always do an amazing job, and I can polo in anytime to get questions answered and to make an appointment. I was on a short time line and they got me an appointment with one of the other offices to get him taken care of. They are always happy to see him and remember how small he started as the first time they saw him.

For the last year and half I had reservations about returning to NAH after the loss of my first service dog May of '24. After coming back to the clinic, I am happy with the doctors and staff thus far. We saw Dr. Boyd today and she is an incredible doctor and understood the nature of my border collie and her needs. I am thankful we caught the ear infection with my baby. Thank You NAH.
