I would give five stars to my doctor Dr Lee but after yesterday's experience with some of the nursing staff! We're bummed that we have to go to that hospital but we love Dr Lee so that's where we will go! My husband got out of surgery after getting a defibrillator taken out in a pacemaker put it in so it's kind of like a double surgery.... When I got into his room I did not see a nurse for a very long time and when I did she didn't seem to really care too much about what was going on. My husband had to beg for a pain pill thank God Dr Lee was still there and got him one! There was a mix-up with medications we did not leave with any pain meds for him which is fine! The nurse had absolutely no bedside manner was rude and judgmental of my husband! Thank God there was other helpful nurses ther

The ED staff was wonderful and got us in and out as soon as possible. I fainted getting off of the train on our way to the airport to go home to Texas. Got me fluids and meds and kept us informed. My husband and I both work in a hospital and were impressed with every aspect of the unexpected visit.

Dr. Mohanty is truly the best GI west of the Hudson, in my opinion. He is not only highly knowledgeable, but genuinely caring — and his amazing staff reflects that same level of compassion and professionalism. From day one, I never felt like “just another patient.” The entire office works closely with you to make sure you feel supported and never lost in the shuffle. Dr. Mohanty really listens — and I mean truly listens. He asks thoughtful, relevant questions and takes the time to fully understand your concerns instead of rushing through the appointment. Most importantly, he outlines a detailed treatment plan that actually works. It’s incredibly reassuring to find a physician who clearly takes his oath seriously and is fully committed to improving your health. I’m very grateful for the

My grandfather was shamed during his hospital stay. While he was at his most vulnerable, he was told not to urinate on the floor because “no one was there to clean it up,” and he was also told not to bother staff. These words were said to a man who had lost his independence and already felt like a burden. The impact was heartbreaking. He went so far as to stop drinking water overnight because he did not want to inconvenience anyone. These are cruel and unacceptable things to say to a patient, especially one who is vulnerable and dependent on care. No one should be made to feel ashamed for needing help. I am still giving this hospital five stars, because one bad apple does not define the entire institution. However, the care technician involved needs serious retraining or should reconsider

Extremely Concerning Ambulance Transport and ER Care – Serious Negligence On Christmas night, my 4-year-old daughter was transported by emergency ambulance to Beth Israel after suffering a febrile seizure. What followed was one of the most alarming medical experiences my family has ever had. First, the ambulance response time exceeded 20 minutes. Once en route, despite minimal traffic and the presence of lights and sirens, the ambulance drove below the speed limit for most of the trip. My wife, who works in the medical field, requested that our daughter be taken to a different hospital, but we were told “time was critical” and Beth Israel was closer, yet the urgency shown during transport directly contradicted that claim. While I followed behind at a safe distance (100–150 feet, hazards
