New York Hospital Queens Emergency Room provides critical care with attentive staff, but long wait times and crowded conditions often make visits stressful for patients.

I went in in to the ER for heart pain last night at 12:48 am and every single nurse treated me with respect. They was were amazing. They didn’t charge me until they ran every test on me. To find out what the pain in my chest was.

Had a procedure done this month. I received nothing but the Best from the intake, nurses, admissions, anesthesiologists, Or nurses plus Dr. Ricci himself. After surgery, Nurse sharon,Amanda, millie,Ateltia were very supportive throughout my stay. Love NYPH ❤️

The wait time is too long. I have been here since morning and it's already afternoon. I haven't been called inside. It's now evening and I have not been seen. I been here for 8 hours. Update: I ended up waiting until 7PM and I left the hospital. It's so crazy that people who were at the ER at 9AM were not seen.

I understand being busy, but for the average wait time to be over 9 hours in an emergency center, it is unfathomable. We just walked out after 3 hours waiting to be triaged.
