Hands down the BEST BEST BEST! Dr V is a top-notch optometrist, has great energy, super thorough and really takes the time to explain things in an engaging and down to earth way. His staff are off the charts helpful, caring, warm, professional and always go the extra mile. Rebecca and Kim totally rock!! What really puts this practice over the top, is that in addition to exceptional, quality care they provide is when you walk in the office you are greeted like a dear friend. Everyone is happy and the energy is amazingly positive. It is legit FUN to be there, and I always leave with a huge smile. Makes me wish I needed to go to the eye doctor every week. SO happy to have them in our community!

For years I've used a different optometrist. Every time I would go for glasses they would pressure me into a lot of tests that had just been done with my ophthalmologist. Every year I paid out of pocket for those tests. This year I found Dr. Verruto. He waived most of the tests. More importantly he was skilled and caring. He discussed my dry eye with me and offered a solution. He took plenty of time to be certain the glasses would be the exact prescription I needed. He was warm and friendly. I then met the optician. She too was warm and friendly. She helped me pick out a pair of frames without rushing me. She answered all my questions and was clearly knowledgeable. Dr. Verruto and the staff at New Paltz Eye Care are the best! I wanted to explore all options on my journey to better vision and received the best support along the way. Dr. Verruto went out of his way to help answer my questions and help me understand all my options. He also works with TLC eye center to support patients after laser eye surgery which was very reassuring. Your vision is in the best hands with the crew at New Paltz Eye Care. It’s cheesy but they really do care!

Dr. Eric was extremely helpful to me after I got my lasik eye surgery. He even came in on a freezing Saturday morning to look at my eye when I was having pain. He is very knowledgeable and good at his job. I highly recommend his service.
