New Bern Family Dentistry

I'm a new patient...so far so good. They don't seem to push unnecessary procedures to price gouge like Aspen dental. I will give an update as things progress.

I just called to see if they could see my daughter who has a cavity and is in pain and they offered an appointment three weeks out for just a new patient visit and then a cavity fill later on. I know there are limitations - it’s just disappointing.

Dr.Gong is amazing! I had trauma to my two front teeth and she did an amazing job. I currently work at a dentist office in Wilmington and none of them knew I had crowns until my cleaning. Every time I get a cleaning or exam everyone keeps saying how great of a job she did. I couldn’t be more thankful! 🩷

Dr. Gong is the best. I’m terrified of the dentist and she took great care of me and all my fears as did her staff. She made sure I was comfortable before touching me and really took her time. I needed a crown and deep cleaning. She worked my boyfriend in for an emergency appointment and he wasn’t even a patient of hers. Everyone in this office is kind and compassionate. You won’t find anyone better in the area!

Will not be returning to this office. For an office that is “family” dentistry, they are not very good with children. Basically, if I don’t give my child Valium I will have to pay a “behavioral fee” to get his fillings done. He’s a child…he may wiggle a little. I don’t feel I need to give my kids Valium to get their teeth done. I would rather pay out of network and to go to someone good with kids than to go back here.
