Neurology Care

I just got back from my first appointment with this office and it was a wonderful experience. The front office staff we kind, courteous, helpful and efficient. I even had to get their assistance several times with the patient portal and they never acted irritated by my constant interruption but instead were gracious to assist me. I saw Carolynn Howk for my consult and she was amazing! She was genuine, caring and attentive the entire time. I felt listened to and validated which is something I haven't felt in a long time at a physician's office. I feel very grateful that everyone at this facility treated me with warmth, kindness and respect.

I had an issue with my fathers medication. The lobby was full and I saw a blonde lady walking with what looked like was a doctor. I stopped her and asked if she could help because the front check in was packed. She said she had to run something to the front and would be back. Minutes later she came back and gave me her full attention. Not only was she able to help me she helped get a PA started for my dad with some lady named Kim who was also very helpful and kind. We have not had any problems since. Finally found an office who helps the patients and not make it seem like they are only there for the money. Now I can post this without mentioning, this office seems like a very busy office, lots of patients and many doctors. I do think the wait times are very long but that is because what I

I have seen Dr.Khalid several times in and outpatient a have not been impressed. I have spent over 100k in testing and it's always we see the damage just am not sure what it is. Even more upsetting most recently I ended up having to suggest my own treatment while in hospital as he was not going to make a game plan. I have done the test he asked me to I have been stabbed poked and prodded and we always circle back to shoulder shrug. I can only say this I would make sure this who you want invest your money into before you see him if it's a super complicated case you may just get a shoulder shrug for years on end.

Nurse Practitioners and associate doctors are good, BUT…all other staff (including med-techs) are LAZY, disrespectful, and have poor customer service skills. Staff complains of being under-staffed, but that doesn’t appear to be the case. Customer service is the worst! Phone communication is non-existent…both incoming and outgoing calls. Additionally, their patient software, HEALOW, (online-chart for communication) is NOT user friendly!!!!!! ALSO, 3 times, we formally requested (with their required form) the patient’s records for patient’s move from Waxahachie area to another town (new doctor). When records were FINALLY provided, they were incomplete and were only paper copies (as we purposely/intentionally waited at the checkout window) provided by the office staff vs a comprehensive packe

So far I've had good experiences each visit. Until today, when I waited to check in and the lady in front said she was 30mins late to her appointment and they checked her in. Once I got checked in, which I was 15mins early like they ask. I waited a bit and then was put in a room. I waited and waited and waited.. looks like they were behind and I can only imagine why. So I had to get up and leave without being seen because after over 50mins of waiting I hadn't been seen and I had a conference to get too. When you allow patients to be seen that are running late, maybe don't forget they were late and the ones on time are now pushed back and made to be late.
