NeuroCare Institute of Central Florida

Due to facial paralysis I was referred to this institute. My first and only appointment was a complete disappointment. The staff was friendly but unfortunately the doctor was a NO SHOW. After my vitals were taken and evaluated by a PA, I was told that there really wasn't anything that can be done, this after sitting in a room for over an hour. The doctor never came to see me or evaluate my condition. I was told to schedule a follow-up with them and if the condition still existed they would referred me to another specialist. I will not be returning to this poor excuse for a doctor. I have also inform my insurance to stop and/or modify payment as my visit was to see a neurologist not the help. 5 Stars for Dr. Pineless office. My first visit and wait time was short. Katherine listened to my concerns and she was very thorough and reviewed my medical records prior to seeing me. Office staff was very pleasant. I will recommend. Thank You!

I would do zero stars if it were an option. My son suffers from a traumatic brain injury and is confined to a wheelchair and lives in a brain injury facility in Mt Dora Florida and we live in Plant City Florida. He was scheduled for his first consult visit and because he was 25 minutes late (comes via transportation) due to reasons beyond transportations control he was told he would need to reschedule due to their 15 minute window policy. Second appt was scheduled and we were all there on time however they would only allow one person go back due to “COVID”!! This was very difficult considering he has caregivers that know him and are needed along with his parents but again would not budge due to “rules”!! 3rd appt came and was okay but then the 4th appt came to go over results of the 3rd ap

The reviews are misleading. The algorithm is off, as one review was miscalculated as what I assume was supposed to be a 5 star review, is put in somehow as a one star review. Another one star review below throws Dr. Pineless reviews off because someone awarded him one star who *hasn't even been a patient.* How can you come on Google reviews and do such a thing? People come here looking for accurate advice, look immediately at the stars and judge a place of business. This is reckless and irresponsible. If you're still with me, I'm on to my actual review now. The Scheduling Receptionist is very RUDE she cut me off in the middle of my conversation and then had the nerve to hang up on me when I addressed that she cut me off before I could finish saying what I was saying. I then called back to speak to someone higher than her and got this lady who said she was the office manager, she then tried to make an excuse for the girl's behavior saying that they are backed up with patients because of an insurance change and she's just having a rough day which has nothing to do with me, I should have been treated with respect no matter what kind of day you're having because you're in that profession to do so.
