Nemours Children's Hospital, Delaware

Really nice children’s hospital. Always clean and presentable. My child, who is medically complex has been attending this hospital since birth. 11 years in and I have no complaints. The medical staff has always been friendly, extremely helpful and supportive, even enthusiastic. Most going above and beyond to ensure quality care is met. Communication is also great. I’m genuinely grateful for the level of care my son as well as myself have received.

**Review for Nemours Children’s Health Team** I recently took my daughter to Nemours for an appointment that included an EKG. The staff was fantastic, making her feel comfortable throughout the process. However, as we were driving home, the doctor called with a concern and asked us to return the same day. I was informed that if we couldn’t come back, the next appointment wouldn’t be until April 2026, which was quite alarming. Despite this scheduling issue, I want to express my heartfelt appreciation for the care and attention my daughter received from all the doctors at Nemours. Their commitment to patient care is evident, and I am grateful for their support. Thank you to the entire team for your hard work and dedication!

My daughter recently had a surgical procedure done with Ophthalmology, and as nerve wracking it is to have your baby have surgery for the first time everyone was fantastic. Darlene from PACU was so kind and helpful when our daughter came out of surgery. Dr. Magan who preformed the procedure was thorough, professional and very patient with us. She explained everything which definitely helped relieve any anxiety. My daughter’s Anesthesia team was also great and took my concerns seriously and were super patient and with her as well. The lady who had a cane at the surgical check in waiting area was so nice to us, I’m so sorry I never caught her name. Thank you to everyone for caring for our daughter and being so friendly 🤍

There will never 4be enough words to express my gratitude for this hospital! They are incredible, friendly, caring and talk to my daughter like she is just an ordinary person. They explain to here what they are going to do and show her things they need to touch her with. They are patient and kind and I couldn't be happier that we found them! P.S. Dr Charlie is amazing!! He is the guru of brace making - 110% recommend him!!

Monday night 12/1/25, we checked into the hospital around 7:30 PM and were not seen until 10:30 PM. Several people who arrived after us were seen and discharged long before we were even called back, which left me extremely confused. When I asked for an explanation, the front desk staff told me certain patients were being fast-tracked based on their needs. I fully understand triage I work in healthcare but my concern was for my son. He was confused, zoned out, said he felt like he was having an out-of-body experience, had no fever, was struggling with memory lapses, and was sleeping excessively. As a parent, I was terrified.
