Nemours Children's Health, The Villages, Florida - Primary Care

My sons insurance was switched and he was assigned to Dr. Lourdes Rivera. She was AMAZING!! She kept professional while making us laugh in the process. We felt welcome and comfortable. I couldn't have asked for a better doctor for my son. The nurse that took care of us first was just as amazing. I am so sorry that I didn't get her name. I am hopeful that we can keep thus doctor until my son turns 18.

Everyone here are the most sweetest people and most caring people. I feel so happy and genuinely grateful for every one. Dr. Laroche is an amazing pediatrician! As a new mother, I was so nervous, but Dr. Laroche's calming demeanor immediately put me at ease. He has a way of speaking that is so soothing, and it's clear he genuinely cares about both the children and the parents. He's been incredibly supportive, and I feel so lucky to have found such a wonderful doctor for my child.

We’ve been going to nemours for the past 3 years and absolutely love Brenda and Dr. Laroche but the front desk lady’s have always been so rude and lacking hospitality skills but today I was so pleased to see all new ladies in the front and they were all so welcoming and helpful! My daughter also saw a new nurse practitioner today, Amanda Dumers was so was amazing! She went out of her way to make not only myself but my 3 year old daughter so comfortable. Normally my daughter freaks out and cries anytime someone tries looking in her ears but she made the experience fun for her and helped her get over that fear.

My first impression of this office was wow—the staff here is so kind and compassionate. A year later, I still feel the same way. My daughter has had quite a few illnesses over the past year, and Brenda and Dr. LaRoche have been absolutely wonderful every single time. As a new mom, it can be hard to find a doctor who truly listens to your concerns (no matter how small they may seem) and genuinely cares. Every visit leaves me feeling reassured and confident about my daughter’s care. I’m so grateful we found this office and couldn’t recommend them more highly.

I’m a first time mom with a newborn and my daughter has been going to Nemours since a few days after she was born. Staff is always polite, friendly and professional. We had an emergency over the weekend and I was able to call their emergency nurse after hours line to go over her symptoms.
