Nemaha County Hospital

Husband went to ER; the PA there had no empathy or kindness, when my husband mentioned a fear of needles. The PA talked extremely and unnecessarily loud. Ended leaving with no lab work being done. Ended up at UNMC a month later and stayed a whole week with heart failure and heart function reduced to 20%. I believe if we had a different doctor we may have had my husband’s condition found out a month earlier. Hopefully will never need to come back to this place. I highly recommend driving to omaha for better care. The nurses were great but that PA is something else.

Nice facility. Friendly, professional employees. I was here for a follow up appointment with Dr Tomes in the outpatient department. I have zero complaints. Seems like a great asset to the community.

Don’t go if you need pain from flare up of illnesses treated. If you are lucky, you’ll get Tylenol. The PA will stay in the room for 30 seconds and then leave to get her “stethoscope” and never bother coming back. Nurses are great though.

While traveling from Florida to South Dakota, we camped at the nearby RU Lost Campground and I cut my finger unhooking the travel trailer from the truck. We drove to Nemaha County Hospital and were in and out in about an hour. Jenna and Josh took great care of me and the facility was very nice. While I don't recommend cutting your finger so badly that it requires 6 stitches, I do recommend the Nemaha ER.

Got problems with my Healht Inssurance. And i call them. They gave me a paid plan. I almost done with the pais. They have the best nurses and nice Dr. I don"t remember his name. But God blesses them. And very nices staff on clint services. They always pick the phone with smiles and ready to help you. FIVE STARS!
