Nelson Family Dentistry

I went in for a tooth extraction and I was there for like 2 hours, but the actual extraction with him pulling out the tooth took him like 5 minutes. That was like the fastest tooth extraction I've ever had, and I've had several! Dr. Nelson is very experienced, professional, and kind. I also like the view out the window of a pond with ducks and the TV on the ceiling so if you keep your eyes open while they work you have something to watch. I'm definitely going back to them. They were able to see me quickly, they are competitively priced, and it's a peaceful office.

One star, because the support staff are so lovely and kind and the waiting area is very comfortable. Of course it might be more comfortable if the dentist in question didn't exploit the pain of his patients in order to pad his pockets. If money is so tight you have to charge $50/min, in which no treatment actually occurs, then maybe a slightly less comfortable couch is called for. Don't bother talking to him about it. He clearly has never had anyone disagree with him in judging by his purple complexion when questioned. If this is the way things have "always been done around here" then the citizens of Kingston, Oklahoma have my deepest sympathies and I hope that if you ever are in pain, you have the ability to drive somewhere else.

Wish I could leave less stars Wouldn’t recommend anyone here worst experience I have ever had …. Went in for tooth removal and I had to bed for more numbing shot … then he ripped my crown off before I was fully numb I screamed stop and he proceeded to rip out half my tooth and full crown I was screaming in pain and then got mad said I need to find a new dentist and said I should be sedated for now on …

Had my first visit here today for a teeth cleaning. Everyone is super here. Glad I found this dentist.
