Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing

Ranked #1 in nursing for a reason. Academics are extremely rigorous. You need a B and above to pass. It’s a competitive school to get acceptance into but a more competitive school to graduate from. More than half of my class did not graduate on time. The standards at Emory Nell Hodgson are very high. The professors at Emory truly want every student to not just become a nurse but become a good nurse with dignity. We were taught to care for our patients the way we would like our family to be cared for. Clinical experiences and opportunities were great. Lots of crying and hair falling out from stress during nursing school but proud to be an Emory nurse!

Although Emory Nursing school is rated as one of top nursing schools, they have failed to serve students to successfully complete their study. They are constantly changing curriculums for MN and MSN, which has been confusing many students. Emory also does not have an advisor for nursing students. Their program director serves as an advisor, which she tries hard but it's hard for her as she has other duties. Also, Emory nursing does not support any international students. They were told by Emory that they couldn't finish their programs although they had been admitted and started program already. I have heard from a few students struggling to talk to school to figure out the way to continue their education, but they have not been getting any support at all. Apparently, Emory MSN nursing can
