I've been wearing glasses for almost 30 years, seen by ophthalmologist and optometrist alike, and I have yet to encounter a MORE thorough and quick exam. I went to see Dr. Banda for a routine eye exam since I had not had my eyes checked for two years after my SMILE surgery. I didn't go in with any expectation that my visit would be beyond any other visit I'd had, but my visit was by far the best I've ever had with a medical professional. Dr. Banda is patient, understanding and a very knowledgeable optometrist. She made sure she checked my eyes thoroughly, clearly explaining what she was doing and checking for. She answered all of my questions without making me feel like I was posing illogical questions and she didn't seem rushed. When she noticed that I had some nodules in my eyes, she made sure to let me know it was not out of the norm to calm any fears and provided recommendations for a spray I could use to clean my eyes going forward.
