I arrived on time for my and my son’s appointment and checked in at the first table with D., who then directed me to another table. Unfortunately, the older lady there, K.R., was very rude and dismissive. She gave me a paper without explaining if it was for me or my son, and since she also took my ID, I assumed I should fill it out with my information — which is why she kept my ID. When I asked for clarification, she told me it was for my son and had me cross out my name and write his instead. She then said I was late and that they might not see me, even though my appointment was at 8:50 and I had arrived on time. The first-table lady, D., confirmed that and tried to help. After waiting for 30 minutes, I found out K.R. had never checked me in. Thankfully, D. helped me get seen, and the res

I've always had a positive experience at the Naval Branch Health Clinic Groton. The staff, from the front desk personnel to the medical providers, are consistently professional, friendly, and genuinely attentive to my health concerns.

This review is 100% towards the homeport front desk. Telling us can get forms done in 1 day and actually getting it done then soon as we leave saying it’s going to take 10 days to get a simple form done which is keeping my wife from work, keeping my child from school. This is rediculous . Dependent side of medical absolutely sucks.

This review is 100% for optometry. Every other department is just fine. Optometry was a pain to deal with. I was told in the summer they aren't doing eye exams or renewing glasses anymore. I then go out in town to get these done (as instructed by the front desk and paid for out of pocket). Now, 6 months later, when checking out they need an up to date prescription. I made 7 trips to optometry before getting my sheet signed, received extremely rude and sassy attitude from some front desk HM, and was told to make an appointment (a month out) to get my checkout sheet signed. Unbelievably trashy, nightmarish, and non-existant service. The HMs here are more worried about uniform instructions and their own convenience than providing any real service to personnel who double the hours they do. I

When I was on shore duty, I was having pains in my wrists and saw PA Mark Clarke. He told me that I wasn't exercising enough and put me on naproxen. A month later, it hurt just to get out of bed so I went back and saw a doctor who had blood work done which revealed that I had Lyme disease.
