Staff is professional and courteous. Methods to speak to someone by phone without first having to navigate through a computer system needs work. Every retiree is not necessarily computer literate.
Definitely the worst military pharmacy we've experienced in our 20 years. Does not fill scripts in a timely manner, does not answer the phone, often doesn't have meds in stock, doesn't communicate with the Doctors when there is an issue with the prescription...they expect the patient to liase between the pharmacy and the Dr. We will be excited when we are no longer stationed here and have access to a better pharmacy.
Come on, man, it's the military. You know, they're gonna take care of you, especially if you're some kind of dependent or veteran, every time we go to this place, everybody's pretty polite. It's always clean, but you know, the structure of the military stepdad was marine for 23 years, they play no games, you know, they take care of their people. They take care of their place. In you better mind your behavior when you go act like you got some common sense, but you know, love the guys
They've crammed a pharmacy into a tiny space. It looks very cluttered and hard to say it is clean because of this. I received a medication I should have had counseling on. The Navy enlisted personnel at window one clearly knew nothing about it. I asked him a question I knew the answer to. He turned around and asked a young lady sitting behind the curtain about my question. She said you can take steroids with ibuprofen. She is blatantly wrong. The steroids can make the adverse effects of ibuprofen worse. These adverse effects include bleeding and ulcers. Wrong information. Cluttered space. Poor counseling on medications. How is this place even open?
A joke of a facility that doesn’t provide adequate healthcare. The pharmacy has gotten medications incorrect and had to open an investigation through congress due to the lack of safety precautions. Now the pharmacy has been processing my medications I requested to have refill since Friday and yet after another two hours waiting still don’t have my meds and I have lapsed which is dangerous. They are understaffed and are not prioritizing patient care or subsidizing care outside if they cannot meet demand. I recommend staying away from them and if you need your medical records they also lose them constantly. Also had a dental appointment and because of the AC not working I cannot get seen in time for my retirement as they don’t have any appointments until July. What a joke, facility can’t op
