Customer Reviews
I highly recommend people to have this location for your primary care! Everyone was super sweet, friendly and seemed to care about their patients. I had an amazing experience today! :) It does took me a little bit of time to see my doctor but it was worth it.
Staff at the facility are nice and can be helpful. But it consistently takes half an hour or more over the appointment time scheduled weeks or months in advance just to get checked in. Arrive early, late, doesn't matter. It takes ages to sit in the lobby and wait for someone to take you. The place can be empty and you're still late. Why schedule appointments with times? Even when they take you into the back, the doctor may not show up for an additional half hour. So a 2pm appointment becomes 3pm and you're still sitting there twiddling your thumbs. And the doctor talks to you for less than 5 minutes. So 1 hour late for 5 minutes of time. It's so strange. Note, you can't call Astoria Nao Medical. They have no number. You have to call the automated phone system which is a nightmare to naviga
They seem to take guests in the order they arrive - so your reservation time is meaningless. We have been here four times and the wait varies from 20 minutes to an hour and a half. An hour and a half to see an “urgent” care doctor is simply too long. I think we will go to City MD on Steinway from now on due to the long wait times.
Came in for an UTI. My was at Appointment 8:15am, was seeing at 10:15 Couldn’t get blood drawn by MA/PA or doctor because they don’t know how to draw blood. Both arms were bruised and hurt from them trying to get blood drawn Nó prescriptions to be found at my local CVS/ I told them last time they sent it there they completely misspelled my first and last name. After one hour and a half at the Ditmars CVS and several calls to NAO. the pharmacist felt bad for me and decided to call them to no answer. Got to NAO at 8am, and It’s 1pm and I got no meds or help from NAO. Be aware.
Very clean organized environment with great heart warming staff . My experience today was a 10/10. Everything I needed for my physical, for work purposes was handled so professionally.
