This review is for the UNM Dermatology Practices (not Dr. Barbosa). The medical staff are good. However, they coded my annual skin cancer screen as an office visit v. preventive visit two years in a row. Preventive skin cancer screenings are covered in full (per the ACA). I tried to dispute but each time they found in THEIR favor. Of course they did. If you want to avoid $100+ in charges for a visit that should be free, then avoid UNM. Unfortunate and shameful.
