Naiara Alvarez MD Integrative Rheumatology of South TX

I specifically requested to see the medical doctor, not the PA. No disrespect but for $50 co-pay, I better see a medical doctor. Apparently, this office is now run mainly with PAs and is almost impossible to get an appointment with a real doctor. Save your time and money!

Office staff was extremely friendly and helpful. As a new patient it was nice to be greeted with kindness. Dr. Alvarez was able to diagnose and identify the medical treatment for me. He was easy to talk to throughout the visit. My overall experience was excellent.

I'm from Brownsville and I do not mind traveling to come see Dr Alvarez. Love the staff and Dr attitude. Very patient, always smiling and cheerful. Dr sent me to do all the studies and explained to me everything in details. Highly recommend. 5 stars

I am a patient from there . I already have a year seeing DR Álvarez she is the sweatiest and will hear me out on whatever questions I have in my condition same with Dr.Luis Alvarez I see both of them and they are great I love how they want me to get better and grow. I am in a study program too and the lady’s are very helpful and have a lot of empathy towards my condition I have been getting better thanks to all my doctors and nurses.The office is great too everyone is very nice they do help out if I have any questions or problems they may have there flaws but they get the work done :)

After waiting for two hours to see someone she came in and spent 5 minutes with me. Likely a PA, that’s all I ever get to see anymore. I left with no answers, no recommendations, no medication, no nothing. I felt like she didn’t listen to me and worse like she didn’t believe me! When you have a diagnosed autoimmune condition that is the worse feeling. I’ll never go back.
