**THIS PLACE INTENTIONALLY GOES OVER YOUR DEDUCTIBLE DONT GO HERE** I had not been to the dentist is several years, but In January of this year (2024) I finally got over my fear and went here. I had several cavities and a wisdom tooth that needed to be extracted. Not all of it was covered by my dental insurance in one year. I told them that it was CRITICAL that I did NOT WANT TO GO OVER MY DEDUCTIBLE. The front desk worker, Kim I believe, told me we didn’t need to do it all at once and could space it out so that I wouldn’t meet my deductible. She even wrote it all down, just to go the extra mile to “assure me.” The other week I got a notification for an appointment and, assuming our lengthy conversation about my financial status meant something, assumed it would not exceed my deductible.

I feel very fortunate to have been referred to Dr. Kim. She has solved my many serious dental issues with timeliness and skill. Dr. Kim clearly loves her work and makes every appointment pleasant. I am grateful for her great care. Dr. Kim's entire staff is wonderful........special thanks to Karen who is so accommodating and helpful with scheduling and insurance.

My experiences at Sweet Tooth Dental was anything but sweet. When a technician took my ex rays I returned home with dozens of sores in my mouth, something that never happened to me before. When I went for a cleaning, the water that contained something akin to Listerine sprayed in my eyes. When I found a new dentist, I called to ask for the release of my medical records. The reponse was you missed an appointment and until you pay the $75.00 fee I will not release it. I called the dental board and asked about the ethics of witholding medical information and they informed me such a procedure was a violation of Hippa. When a medical provider places profit over health, that is egregious. Collecting a debt should not be akin to extortion. Hence, the irony of the adjective "sweet" in My Sweet

One of the female doctors (don’t know her name but she has a low sweet voice) came in and started working on me without introducing herself or acknowledging me. I had a filling replaced and a temporary crown placed. The week after, I came in to what I was told it was a quick 30 minutes appointment. I was in the office 1 hour and 40 minutes because my crown needed some “adjustments”. Again, that day the doctor didn’t introduce herself just came in and started working on me. The front desk lady is not welcoming either and she always seems annoyed when she helps you check in our check out. Overall , not a welcoming and happy experience. I will not be coming back. This office used to be owned by a very sweet male dentist. He was amazing and had amazing manners. All of the assistants are amazin

Dr. Anne Kim is lovely and kind. Her work seems thorough. Shapour is an incredible hygienist. He's gentle, thorough, interested in educating patients on oral health care, and a godsend when it comes to perio charting (the procedure where they measure pockets in your gums). I've had some painful experiences at other offices when it comes to dental hygienists clumsily or roughly doing perio charting, to the point where I've refused the procedure on future visits. With Shapour, he was literally halfway through the process before I even realized that's what he was doing! Incredible. Lastly, I trust Dr. Kim and her staff because my late uncle, Dr. Chester Banaag of Village Hillcrest Dental, hand-selected her to take over his practice when he retired. ♥
