I would NOT recommend. Unfortunately im not from SC so I cannot tell you where to go. My NueroSurgeon closed office. So i had to find another. After fighting and crying on the phone I finally had to PAY A PCP for a visit to get a referral because they are too good to allow you to transfer. It takes months. XRAYS, MRIS, i almost lost my job I had over 20yrs. Finally they say they agree, the damage is extremely concerning and I need surgery but it is to complex. I explain finances, my job and inaurance concerns. This makes the urgency to have procedure done before end of year. We are now wanting me to go have more testing and push till maybe another 6months. In which time I will most likely lose my job and health coverage. Leaving me without surgery and either suffering for life. Or paral

I'll take y'all over Trident anytime. Trident dumped me out the back of an ambulance after a seizure almost killed me at an old residence in another county without contacting any family. I guess the neighbors how my family found me wondering around the vacant house.

Usually this place is the best and the nurses, doctors & any other worker there has always been a delight. Only lately have I not been able to get answers to any of my questions for my doctor. I message them then wait days message again wait message again then I called a few times and I was told I would hear back before end of day Friday and nothing then they closed now it's another new week and day 1 of this week is almost over and still nothing and it is a important medical problem that only my doctor can help with the hospital can't because they don't do that kind of primary care and can't prescribe things like testosterone but my doctor has not answered still. I love this place and my Dr. Has never done this before so I pray and hope that this is a 1 time mess up that will be answered

Been going here 5 yrs + with many visits. People have ALWAYS been professional, kind and pleasant, front desk and staff. Everyone can have a bad day or react to patients bad behaviors, but I would challenge any review until I heard the othe side. Remember both sides when reviewing.

A Friend flew down from Minnesota to have a pineal cyst removed by Dr. Patel. She had researched this quite well and found he was the best. Her husband was allowed to stay in the private room with her. They were very happy with the surgery, Dr. Patel, his staff, and their whole experience with MUSC Hospital. The rooms had a small fridge, private bathroom, and sleeper sofa in addition to what you expect of any hospital room. I found the sign-in process for visitors a bit confusing. On our 1st visit, the doors from the parking garage opened for us and we made our own way to her room. On our 2nd visit, we had to press the buzzer for help and were instructed to enter via the front doors. After waiting in line we showed our ID & received adhesive name tags.
