MUSC Children's Health - Mount Pleasant

We have been patients at what was Coastal Pediatrics for over ten years. Across the board, service has been poor since the switch to MUSC Children's. We recently had basic flu and strep tests run for my son in the office -- these tests were billed at $50 each through Coastal before insurance. With the change to MUSC, they are now billed at $529 and $231 respectively -- a 760% increase for these basic tests!! I called to confirm that this was correct and the customer service agent informed me that this is actually at the low end of their billing! There's no other explanation or apology for the service. Unfortunately, we'll have to switch to a new provider to avoid.
