Ms. Lisa Shallenberger

I wasted my time with this doctor I will say that. I've had family and friends tell me I need to find a new one and after my appointment today they were absolutely correct. I should've looked at her reviews. I have extreme anxiety she's been prescribing medications all kinds. Nothing has worked for me and I've been going to her and this appointment I suggested I need something stronger. I only needed something short term as needed. I suggest some kind of benzos because my friends and family are on them and said they don't know why she hasn't prescribed any to me for my bad anxiety. It's so bad it's affecting my everyday life. Well she was like no I can't prescribe you and I asked why I didn't understand. She tried to tell me I have sleep apnea. What is she even talking about I don't even s

Lisa never helped me at all. She laughed at me. She made me feel worse than I already did. I didn’t realize how bad she was until I found a more knowledgeable doctor. This was my first time seeing a doctor for anxiety and panic attacks. I’m finally off of the medication she had me on and I’m doing a lot better. All I needed was to talk to someone and all Lisa wanted to do was put me on medication and collect my insurance money. I say that because that’s all she did. I’m doing great now thank God.

Lisa is an amazing provider at OPA. She is patient and empathetic to my mental health needs. She is genuine in providing the right treatment for the patient and never makes you feel uncomfortable or out of place. She listens and allows a collaborative approach to be made with regarding treatment. She is clearly passionate about helping others and is an asset to this practice.

I’ve seen Ms. Lisa Shallenberger for about 3 years now and I can’t explain enough how much she has helped me. I love seeing her, she asks just the right questions and doesn’t go on and on and on like other doctors do. She makes me feel very comfortable every time we meet. She is also very sweet and understanding.

Lisa is the only person who has listened to me in the last 20 years. I felt heard and understood and because of that, we have found the regimen that works best for me. I’ve not had this experience with anyone else in the field and I can’t be more thankful. Lisa, thank you. I look forward to each appointment.
