Mountain View of Cascadia cared for our grandmother, Betty, for nearly a year, and we are deeply grateful for the compassion and dignity they showed her in the final months of her 97 years. Despite the challenges of dementia, the staff was patient, kind, and genuinely loving toward her. They ensured our family always had access to her and never made us feel like a burden. Betty adored the nurses and aides who comforted her when she was scared, sometimes sitting with her, holding her, and even bringing her ice cream when she wouldn’t eat. Those moments meant everything to her and to us. We came to truly love the staff and appreciate the care they provided, not just to our grandmother, but to our entire family. No one wants to be in a nursing home but this one is absolutely one of the best. They actually care enough to do special trips for residents who will benefit from outings. Staff are compassionate and dedicated

This place seems nice at first glance but some staff pick favorites with patients. If they don't like you, the treat you like a second rate human. They started acting this way because I complained about the nurse giving me the wrong dose of my medicine or sometimes "forgetting" to give it to me at all. They completely lack empathy for the ones they deem to be undesirable and suddenly most staff stops being nice to you, they purposely take 30+ minutes to answer the nurse call for no apparent reason, which if I was having a medical emergency, I'd be dead for sure. They need to do better. Too many employees are all friends or family with each other and gossip about patients. If you're not in the "country club", you're inhuman garbage and treated in line as such. Please think twice if you plan
