My grandparents were at this facility. The nursing staff (that I've had experience with) were all very polite, professional, and friendly. The facility was always clean when I went to visit. They have 3 alpacas, a koi pond, a duck, I couldn't pet the alpacas, but I loved going out back to visit them, always so fun to watch & a great stress relief for after my visits. The staff were very sympathetic when my grandparents passed, and I am just so very grateful for the love and compassion they showed my grandparents when they were residents here.

Predatory billing: We were told by admissions that the stay was covered by Medicare (20 days, then secondary insurance from 21-100 days). We were told in writing we would be notified if insurance stopped covering the stay. Social services assured us insurance wasn’t a problem as long as she was participating in PT. We were then billed 325 per day and told the stay was NEVER covered by insurance AFTER nearly a full month. When we spoke to the office about this they admitted their mistakes and assured us it was going to be escalated and resolved. Our attempts at follow up have been ignored.

Keep your loved ones home if possible. Good care is hard but this places just doesn't care! After asking for help twice to get Mom to the bathroom, she had a accident. The nurses came in and made it seem like the end of the world! Meanwhile the reson she had the accident is because the staff at the station was too busy on FACEBOOK to get UP and help her. We moved her last week, the "care" is unacceptable!
