When I arrived I checked in. That process was easy and fast. Once I was checked in, I didn't have to wait long in the waiting room. One of the staff members took me back to the examination room. I waited there for 5 minutes and then the doctor came in. The doctor explained what she was doing and she told me what to expect when she was examining me. She was thorough and her communication was better than expected. The overall visit was as pleasant as a doctor's visit can be. If you're looking for a dermatologist, I would definitely recommend Mountain State Medical specialties in Teays Valley.

The People were awesome! My doctor & assistant were friendly & very professional. I feel like they were concerned and took special care of me. The facility was modern, clean, and we'll organized. I highly recommend their services.

This was my first time at Mountain State Dermatology. The ladies at checkin were very kind and helpful. Jackie McCarty, PA was compassionate and knowledgeable as was the nurse ( I won't attempt to spell her name for fear of butchering it). I was very pleased with the care I received and the obvious level of knowledge exhibited. I highly recommend Mountain State Dermatology for anyone in need.

I had a good experience but was not happy that I had cancelled one appointment with Ms McCarty because I requested to see Dr. Krister. Not because I have anything against Ms. McCarty my insurance had explained that I had every right to see the physician instead of a physician assistant. How surprised I was to be seen by Ms. McCarty. I can only assume the front office staff did not honor the request. Ms. McCarty was professional and courteous. No problem with her at all.

She was friendly, kind, and thorough. She answered questions and took her time. I did not feel rushed. She informed me of what she was doing. It was a great yearly check up.
