I want to thank Mountain Men Physical Therapy, especially Dr. Sander. I was diagnosed with Morton's Neuroma several years ago. I had been seen by multiple podiatrists, with a few suggesting surgery. I've had shots between my toes, physical therapy, massage therapy, etc., that lasted for at least 10+ years. I was referred to Mountain Men by the VA after a friend suggested them for my shoulder pain. Dr. Sander asked about any injuries I would like him to look at other than my shoulder. I explained my foot situation, and he assessed the pain. Within five minutes, he was able to relieve the pain I had been experiencing for years. Before you consider surgery or you decide to suck it up, give Mountain Men a try. Honestly, what do you have to lose?

I have had two previous experiences with PT and I can honestly say that Dr. Schiller has a unique, personalized-and most importantly- effective approach. I had a serious fall and broke my shoulder. It was actually in four different pieces! The first orthopedist I saw recommended a total shoulder replacement. I sought a second opinion and this doctor thought that I should give PT a chance before subjecting me to a surgery that is not always effective. I have been doing PT for about 2.5 months and I am amazed by my range of motion and my lack of pain. At Mountain Man, you see a doctor of PT for your entire session. There are no techs and there are no other patients, This is strictly 1 on 1. Dr. Schiller uses manual therapy to release muscle constrictions which leads to better movement

Updated review: If you're experiencing neck, back, shoulder, or nerve-related issues and considering surgical options, I strongly encourage you to visit Dr. Sander Schiller at Mountain Man! I had been dealing with severe neck, shoulder, arm, and back pain, along with concerning neurological symptoms - tingling down my right arm and noticeable muscle weakness. I started physical therapy with Dr. Schiller and noticed improvements right away. In parallel, I went through the usual medical process: primary care provider visit, X-ray, and an MRI, which indicated narrowing and compression in the nerve tunnels at the base of the neck (C6-C7 disks, which Dr. Schiller had already suspected based on my symptoms alone). While I was referred to both an orthopedic surgeon and a neurologist in addition t

I came to Dr. Schiller after suffering a complete ACL rupture and receiving my surgery. Was in excellent care under Dr. Schiller and his wife. They are some of the nicest people you will ever meet and I promise that! The appointments are very special since this is a one-on-one experience with the physical therapist. There are no assistant and/or techs here. This completely changes the dynamic and makes it so you receive the most efficient recovery possible. I worked with Dr. Schiller for about five month and can say I have made a phenomenal recovery thanks to him and his methods. I highly recommend his practice for anyone in need of physical therapy.

After diagnosis/treatment plans from three different physicians (including bursitis, hip replacement, cortisone injections and spinal inflammation), I decided my best long-term option was physical rehab. Dr. Schiller, (along with his wife Brigit and Zoe the dog) have created a welcoming and personal healing space unlike any other PT clinic. More importantly, Dr. Schiller taught me how to 1) take responsibility over my current pain and 2) manage other issues in the future. Bottom line . . . Dr. Schiller convinced me that being responsible for one’s own health is a worthwhile option compared to relying on (differing) physician options. Great job, Doc!
