What a wonderful experience! The service starting from the Crystal Carolina the admitting nurse ,to nurse Wolf, to Dr. David, to Dr. Kontonicolas, to the 3 handsome post op nurses, to our nurse attendie Sobana, was 5 starts. The compassion, professionalism, the accuracy of diagnostic test and interpretation had made an acute appendicitis a breath. My 14 yrs. old daughter was in excrutianting pain and they took care of her with so much kindness. She was diagnosed in 4 hrs while being treated with pain medications and antibiotics and in 9 hrs she was already in the operating room. She was calm and trusted the process. In 16 hrs since arrival we were home. Thanks to the speedy diagnosis and treatment my daughters appendix was intact and was treated by laparoscopy. They have taken care o

I took my disabled son Eric to the emergency room due to a serious and painful infection of his scrotum. Dr. Kashani performed the emergency surgical procedure. He was so very kind and respectful to my son. The surgery went well. Dr. Kashani sat with me following the surgery to explain the after care. He relieved my stress and worries. I hope to have Eric see him privately following his discharge. Eric's entire stay at the hospital went well due to the wonderful care of the nurses. A special shout out to the nurse Luz, who was especially caring and knowledgeable.

I had an incredible birth experience at Mount Sinai’s Labor & Delivery unit. The nurses and staff made my first birth so smooth and supported. Special thanks to Charley, Shannon, Juliane Hyppolite, Aracelis Pisano, the first lactation consultant who visited us, Jenn in the Mother-Baby Unit, and the kind pregnant nurse who kept checking in. Juliane was especially amazing — calm, gentle, and truly the reason I felt safe and encouraged through the hardest moments. I’m forever grateful. The entire L&D team runs such a compassionate, efficient unit. Your kindness, patience, and hard work don’t go unnoticed. Thank you all for helping bring our baby girl, into the world.

I came to south Nassau hospital on 1/16/26 for a colonoscopy. I informed the front desk and the staff that the non prescription over the counter products Dr Irving Levine told me to take didn’t work and I was not cleaned out and I needed to delay the procedure. They had me get into a gown and get ready anyway. They wanted to speak to the doctor. I spoke to him and Told Dr Irving Levine I only started evacuating at 5 am ( it was now 7:45 am ) and was still going to the bathroom. He said “ I can vacuum it out , not a Problem , we can proceed “. They put the IV in me. They brought me in , put me under anesthesia and I woke up and he comes to my bed and tells me he could not see anything.
