Mount Jackson Urgent Care

Went here today for care for my 13 month old. He’s had a runny nose and cough for a week or so and wanted to check to see if he had an ear infection. When I got there as a walk in patient I was asked why I needed to be seen and I told them. I even asked if they were comfortable seeing patients as young as my son and was told yes. They received a call while I was attempting to secure a walk in appointment time and when they were done asked again why I was there and I again explained why I was there. She asked how long my child has had the cough and I said about a week maybe a little more. Then she proceeded to say well I don’t know about that with a cough over a week the provider may need a chest xray and we don’t do that here . This is a great little urgent care/same day appointment doctors office. There's no having to go and check in, then having to sit and wait an hour or two before finally being taken back and everything checked out by a nurse, to then sit and wait another half hour just to finally be able to see a doctor. This office is just wonderful for urgent care and sickness care. They are always very friendly and thorough, as well as getting you in and out as quickly as possible while still treating, testing, and answering any and all questions you may have. I highly recommend this Valley Health Urgent Care office.

Wasn't open due to 4th of July... Drove 30 minutes through the mountains and found a sign on the door. Please update your hours on Google, as we Yankees visiting Luray Caverns are used to an urgent care on every corner!

This is my son‘s favorite doctors office, and honestly, mine too. The clinic is welcoming, full of personable people who obviously care. It is clean and efficent. We have visited five times now, each time checking for appointment availability before hand. Once there, I’ve never had to wait.

The office is cozy, the staff is very friendly and they're great with kids! I wish they were able to do some of the bigger stuff, but they are perfect for when you can't get into your primary. I would highly recommend them!
