I am former patient of the late Dr. Michael Feinstein who passed away a few years ago and have been for over 10 years. Once I heard of his passing, instead of searching elsewhere for a new eye doctor, I decided to stay with Dr. Diego Morillo and Associates who took over - BIG MISTAKE! I’ve visited this eye doctor in the last two years for simple eye exams with no major problems. However, last week, overnight, I developed red eye in my left eye. I was in pain and could not work. I work as a paralegal in a law office, thus, it was extremely difficult. First thing Monday morning, I contacted their office for an emergency appointment; however, only available appointment was next day, Tuesday around noon. Ok, Tuesday noon, I arrive at my appointment. Former patient but under the new owners I waited 45 min. They spent less than 5 minutes with me for exam (long wait but fastest exam ever) and then charged me 75 “new patient” fee to get contacts. Feedback was inconsistent as they were flip flopping calling the fee “new patient” which I was a patient in their system from previous owner to versus “contact fitting” fee. I already had the brand and size and even a picture and they verified that my prescription didn’t change. They refused to hand me the prescription without paying the fee. They did give me the eye glasses prescription even though I didn’t plan to get new glasses! I paid the fee but writing this post as a result. I will never go back to this office! ( Newark office) I was misdiagnosed by the doctor that works there on Saturdays. To top it off the doctor had no idea where the tools in the office was at to remove an eye lash that supposedly was irritating my eye. So he advised me to go home get a pair of tweezers and go back so he could remove it . Like really I was just in disbelief. He also advised me that I was clear from my eye inflammation but when I went into the office again today 3/25 I was advise by the doctor (the owner) that I still have the inflammation in both eyes and have to continue to use eye drops. When I spoke to the doctor today and express my concerns regards to my experience on Saturday all I got was I will talk to him and on top of that I was being charged 125.00 for Saturday w

HORRIBLE OFFICE! I WAS a patient for 10+ years.. use to be a great place to get contacts and glasses but ever since they changed owners.. its been hell! the prices went up for everything, prices for glasses and contacts are OUTRANGEOUS! ONE RIPPED CONTACT AND THEY ARE TELLING ME I HAVE TO BUY A YEAR WORTH OF CONTACTS AGAIN, I just bought a pack 3 months ago, not understanding them having no courtesy. and want to charge for fitting plus new contacts? ME AND MY KIDS WILL BE FINDING A NEW EYE DOCTOR
