Morgan Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center

Very disappointed in this location! My dad went for his 2nd stay at Morgan. He was discharged on his 20th day without a re evaluation. Sent him home when he certainly was NO where ready to come home!! He fell 11 times since coming home last time has landed him in the hospital once again! There were days he hadn't been washed up, cleaned up, even just his clothes changed! Some of the staff were very friendly BUT certainly NOT a place I want my loved ones at!!! Needless to say he will NEVER be a patient of Morgan Health ever again!

My dad is currently at Morgan. I'm so glad we were able to send him there. Admission process was easy. In only a month, he's improved so much. The staff is phenomenal and friendly. Especially Mario, Dylan (and all his PT staff), Kelly and Stephanie. Most of the CNAs are awesome but Melissa is the absolute best. Any issues or concerns I've brought up have been addressed fairly quickly and they are always patient with any questions I have. Highly recommend.

My sister was sent there after being hospitalized for the flu. Her ability to walk unattended was minimal. Upon visiting her we had to help her to the restroom. The response as to why someone hadn’t come to help “Oh that’s the CNA’s job”. We asked why there was no alarm on her bed or rails so she wouldn’t go ‘wandering’ and staff would be alerted to when she got up was we don’t do that here. End result? We were told it is a law that she has the right to fall. The photo attached is what was in my son’s hospital room recently. Two very different facilities.

My father has Alzheimer’s and dementia. After a hospital stay, he needed to go to a rehabilitation to gain strength. The staff at Morgan has been exceptional. From Mario, the Admissions Director to the PT and OT team to the nurses and CNAs on the fourth floor. The compassion I witnessed was phenomenal. You can see that they all care about each individual. My father has been in other rehabs and Morgan surpasses them all in the quality of care.

Mario is the glue to keeping it all together, I cannot say enough great things. If there was an above and beyond award it would go to him. He checks on me every day including coming in on his day off. He consistently shows he cares in every capacity. When coordinating roommates he is as strategic as can be. Although he is not my assigned ambassador, anything I need he is the go to point of contact and never says it’s not his job. Any concerns or issues I have had he has taken ownership and handled in a timely manner. Thank you Mario for making my stay in acute rehabilitation more comfortable.
