Moraga Pediatric Dentistry

My kids have seen Dr. Cheung for their dental needs your years. Although our insurance is not covered here, we chose to stay with her practice. She is gentle, good with kids, and explains all my, and their concerns. She and her office staff are exceptional. I highly recommend her for all pediatric dental needs.

Our sons went to see Dr.Chan. They liked the place, very nice people and place. Also very effective, 2 boys less than half hours. They happily got little gifts and wanted to go back. Also Dr.is very patient to explain my dental questions. Thanks so much.

My insurance is not accepted here currently. However, it is worth every dime for my children to be seen here. This is an amazing, honest, decent practice. I respect their opinion and they have done great work for both my daughters. My oldest was at the meet and greet for the local elementary school a few years ago and broke her front (adult) tooth. We grabbed the tooth and took off for the office. I walked in crying, bloody with a broken tooth in hand at 5 pm with no appointment and she repaired my daughter’s tooth. Physicians this dedicated are hard to find. I will never take my children anywhere else. Worth every dollar.

My son was hiding inside the car and wouldn’t go in. Once he got in, he was very much at ease and said it wasn’t that bad. Makes me happy to know my boys are comfortable there and they were stoked on Mario bros playing as well! Appointments are quick, yet thorough! We’ve continued to stay even when our insurance changed and want accepted anymore.

Dr. Joanna Cheung is so great with my kids. She not only shows me where they need to improve their brushing but makes sure they understand. She's friendly and, more importantly, good at her job. She suggested my boys start with an orthodontist a couple years ago, which seemed early to me, but she was right. The orthodontia helped correct some very sideways adult teeth (seen only in an X-ray) that would have required an expensive surgery to pull down. We are always the only people in the office when we visit, so she staggers appointments to really give one on one attention. Her office is always clean, playing kid's movies, including on the ceiling above their dentist chairs so that they can be entertained while getting their teeth cleaned.
