I always go to this urgent care. FAST, EFFICIENT, THOROUGH. I had Dr. Frankie, second time I have seen him. You can see this man's compassion on his sleeve as soon as he walks in the room. I pushed for an inhaler last time, he didn't think I necessarily "needed" it BUT honored my request anyways. That is HUGE as I have seen a female provider there who was filling in from the Lacrosse location, that refused to honor a request similar (my body told me I have an ear infection because of the specific pain and I asked for antibiotics, she said she saw a possible mild ear infection but not a servere enough one for antibiotics and refused to prescribe them and I left in tears and in pain. Honoring patient requests is huge for me. This time I saw him, was for a elbow injury. So very warm, kind, ge
PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE! I went in after being exposed to the flu and feeling extremely sick. I clearly told the PA this and asked for antiviral medication because I was exposed to Flu through my kid that was positive. He did not listen to me and immediately said it was just a regular upper respiratory infection. He ordered a flu test anyway, which made us wait more than an hour, while sick, with a toddler. The test came back positive for influenza A. Only then did he prescribe the exact medication I asked for in the first place. This delay was total unnecessary and could have been avoided if he had simply listened. As a patient and a healthcare provider, it is frustrating and disrespectful to be dismissed when you know your own symptoms. To make matters worse, the clinic bille
Honestly, I’ve never had a bad experience with monument health until today. I wouldn’t even give it one star. The doctor I saw was horrifying. Her name was Dr. Tracy K Tracy. Treated me like I was not even a human. When I left, I was in tears that woman needs to understand. She can’t treat people like that. She has no bedside manner and she treated me like I was incompetent. She got upset when I couldn’t tell her the name of every single Medication I’ve been on for the last 10 years that’s non-narcotic. I explained to her I do not take narcotics whatsoever and that I needed something that was not narcotic, but usually is prednisone because that’s what the doctor gave me. All she had to do was look in the chart, but she wanted me to name off everything by name. She acted like she had a ven
I would give no stars if I could I usually have good luck with this place but the doctor was not present when he was in the room he walked in and I’m telling him my symptoms and instead of looking at me he’s looking at the floor it’s like he was there but not actually present and then he disregarded me and didn’t really want to help me until I freaked out and was like I will just go over to black hills urgent care or go to my regular doctor and then he decided to actually listen to me what are u doing as a doctor if u can not be present in the room of your patients. Then I had really no idea what was going on got swabbed then they came in and handed me discharged paperwork and said hope u feel better worst visit I have ever experienced!!! I went there before for swollen leg and one doctor
My experience with Monument Health Urgent Care was exceptional. The wait time was <10 minutes and my examination was quick but thorough. The staff and physician were very friendly, professional, and caring. Definitely recommend it to anyone needing immediate care.
