Hi. My name is Amber. I was admitted into the PEDS unit on the 29th for a severe kidney and blood infection. I just wanted to reach out and say how impressed my family and I were with the care from each and every person on the PEDS department. If it wasn't for them taking care of everything and keeping me out of pain and keeping my family in good hands I dont know what we would have done. God Bless each and every one of the doctors, nurses, techs, food services, and evs services. You guys are definitely doing it right. Especially when i was 900 miles from home. You guys are what every hospital should strive to be like. I love you all! Thank you.
Even though I had tobwait in ER for 5 hours the experience afterwards was amazing. When I finally got to my room ( RM 348 ) it was very clean and neat. The 2 nurses that were on duty were right on getting me comfortable and taking my vitals..they were very polite. I wanted to commend the hospital that I was there in my room and not once did someone come in and wake me up. It was very very nice to sleep thru the night and not be bothered by vitals and such. The sleep I got was much needed. My nurse the next day was amazing also. Her name was Haley..she was so nice and professional all the way up till I was discharged. Thank you for the nice professional people on staff. They all deserve raises...and more 🙂 Sincerely, Linda M. Hjelseth 😊
Monument Health, for Rapid City is Really a Good Place to go. The Staff are Very Pleasant, and Very Helpful to walk you to your Destination for your health appointment. When you reach your appointment destination, the receptionist there are pleasant and check you in making sure you are the right person the dr is seeing. When called for your dr, the assistant for your dr checks your meds and she/he welcomes you to seeing the dr and finding out what may happen during your appointment seeing him/her. The Tests results and also the blood pressure and vitals are all taken, so the dr can easily see if any changes have happened. The Assistant is Very polite and real knowledgeable in doing her/his work before the dr. comes to see you. Everyone before the Dr sees you are Very Professional in thei
I have never in my life received such disappointing and unprofessional care. If I didn’t have MyChart, I wouldn’t even know the name of the doctor who saw me. I was placed in a room, put in a gown, and left alone for well over an hour before anyone came in to check on me or explain what was happening. When Dr. Danielle Trapp finally did come in, it was immediately clear she lacked experience and confidence. After she left, the nurse (Tanya) entered the room without introducing herself and showed extremely poor bedside manner. I told her I was freezing, yet she never brought the blanket I requested, it was the CNA checking my blood sugar who noticed how cold I was and brought additional blankets without me even asking. The nurse also minimized and dismissed my symptoms, suggesting they we
I was admitted here after a seizure. I am extremely squeamish with needles and medical stuff, and Jodi in the ER was so kind and patient with me throughout all the bloodwork and IVs. She prevented an already scary evening from becoming scarier. During my overnight stay, RN Sarika was amazing as well! Despite everything going on, the hospital environment managed to feel very comfortable. I was constantly meeting new people, and was constantly wheeled around for various tests, and yet, the amazing staff here made it so it didn't feel overwhelming. I am so grateful to have had such great care during one of the most vulnerable nights of my life.
