Monument Health Orthopedic & Specialty Hospital - Rapid City

I'd like to give a 5 star review to Cindy, in the PT/OT check in area. She is wonderful! She tells the most adorable Tupperware story to motivate patients to return their clipboard, Lol! It's not every day that someone can make you smile so much over something so small, yet so kind! She's a gem. I never got a Press Gainey survey for that visit, so I hope management still sees this here. She's a gem!

Check-in is at ground level entrances, looks like they have newer staffs & do not know what they are doing. Of course I have an approved referral from Insurance before coming in, & it was verified by 3 parties. The check-in lady Tina tries to make us sign something too because she can't find the referral. I called the lady whom deal with this exact referral , thank GOD she picked up the phone or else I might not be able to see Dr. She verified & tell Tina the authorization #. problem solved. During the process, the patient check-in lady short hair older woman was rude. I didn't get her name because I'm actually lining up in front of Tina but she jumped in to speak loud & rude to me & pressure me to sign the doc. This 1 star is toward to the lady on the left for her poor attitude towar

Dr. Rylan Johnson is a awesome doctor. He’s kind, patient, Thoughtful caring and he will listen to all your problems. He doesn’t rush you out of there. He really cares about people. He’s the best doctor I met in this town so far but I’ve only been here for 37 years. below is a picture of my dog Boo Isn’t he cute?

Dr Huot was so nice to me and took the time to explain everything carefully. I am use to doctors being in a hurry and a bit cranky. And his nurse was just as sweet. Thx for assigning them to me.

Staff was extremely polite!! I got in quick to my appointment. I was also given info on new meds offered. Keep up the good work!😊
