Highs and lows. The admin part of it is definitely the low point of our experience. The people that care for you take up the slack. I can't praise their efforts enough. Their collective efforts not only saved a life but were done so with enthusiasm; thanks to all involved!
TLDR: Curtis is super rude over the phone, pls keep him away from the phone I can’t do this anymore. For some reason, there always seems to be some sort of problem when I’m trying to refill my prescription, whether it be a MyChart thing or an insurance thing, whatever. That’s obnoxious as hell, yes, but that’s not the reason I felt compelled to write a review. I get my prescriptions refilled once a month, usually there’s a problem with it, so I call and try to just talk to them directly to resolve it. Seemingly every damn time I call, this guy Curtis answers the phone, and from the moment he picks it up and hits me with “*sigh* monumentpharmacythisisCurtis😒” he’s already got an attitude, as if a patient calling the pharmacy is the worst thing he’s had to encounter since goddamn 9/11. Always easy and fast.
The care I received was quite good, however the billing mess that this place creates has been haunting me for months. I went in for COVID service and had excellent insurance. Also later found out I was insured with another insurance company in addition to my first insurer. The remaining balances for my initial co pays would have been paid in full by the additional insurance had the billing department rebilled everything in a timely fashion. But since they have so many different providers and sub contractors I now have a bill in multiple places in collections. I am furious. I tried to get Monument to rebill as their error within the correction period and not everything was corrected. I was told with more than one company that the time frame for a correction had passed and it was now m
