Monument Health Canyon Rim

If i could give negative 100 stars, i would! I was a patient here and have the same feedback and the most recent post. This place should be renamed Monument Hell. I’m at a loss for words about the state of the place. It’s a health hazard. For a facility meant to be a place of healing, it’s incredibly unsanitary. The floors, walls, toilets, sinks, and overall space are disgustingly dirty. Now, let’s talk about the staff. It took 27 minutes for the nurses to come to my husbands room. The staff treated patients terribly. Some of them sat around talking and laughing while a patient, in no underwear, begging for help to open a brief bag. The poor patient had an odor of feces and clearly had no support cleaning himself. They left my husband in bed for days, neglecting bathing needs. They did no

I stayed at Sandstone Canyon Rim for a couple of weeks with a damaged muscle. The staff there is truly amazing. They take great care of you and are always friendly, efficient, and dedicated to providing the best possible care. I felt like I was part of their family. The administrative staff is also excellent. They are communicative, helpful, and ensure that the place runs smoothly despite being a busy collective. When I first arrived, I was in a lot of pain, but the staff stood by me and helped me through it. That night, Nicki and TJ were on duty. There are too many people to thank, but the director and head of physical therapy, Michelle, is particularly noteworthy. I was going to wait to do my review until my grandma left so let’s hope there’s no retaliation because I am speaking up. This place is a JOKE on the weekends the staff sits around on their phones not doing a THING, I watched a lady walk around asking for help while all the nurses or staff sat on there phones in the little “nurse station” my grandma waited 3 HOURS to get water this weekend! No one cares about my grandmas well being unless a family member is present to advocate for her. My grandma waited in the lunch room for an hour today while everyone else around her was eating because the staff here does not communicate with one and other, and of course her food was cold like normal. The night staff are incredible. Brings great peace of mind knowing our uncle is in the great hands of the amazing staff - Nia & Monica! These ladies have always gone over & beyond. Thank you Nia & Monica for all your hard work & efforts in making sure uncle is well looked after. No greater employees than these beautiful ladies! Malo 🤎🤎

this facility is total crap. found medication on the floor that should have been given to my mother. The workers here do not care about the residents. my mother fell and now has a black eye a cut under her eye and a bruised head. this is a warning do NOT bring your loved ones here this facility needs to be investigated and shut down.
